How to Link All Your Marketing Channels

Simple ways to connect your social media, WhatsApp, website and print so customers can take the next step.

You might already use social media, WhatsApp, a website and printed materials. Linking them gives customers an easy way to find out more and contact you, whichever place they discover you first. Here are simple ways to make the pieces work together.

Give every channel a clear job

Your marketing channels are the places people see or hear from your business. They work best when they help people move from discovering you to finding out more, asking a question and buying or booking.

Social media can introduce your business and show your work. Your website can explain your services, prices and how to book. WhatsApp can help you answer questions. Print can reach people while they are out and about or give them something to keep.

For example: someone sees your facial post on Instagram, visits the treatment page, asks a question on WhatsApp and then books. A leaflet can start the same journey by directing them to that treatment page.

Use the same name and details everywhere

Use the same business name, logo and main contact details on your profiles, website and printed materials. Keep your opening hours, prices and service information up to date wherever they appear.

You do not need identical designs in every space, but they should feel like they belong to the same business. Use consistent colours and clear wording so people recognise you.

For example: if your website calls a treatment “Relax & Refresh Facial”, use that name on your leaflet and social posts too. Calling it three different names can leave people unsure which service to choose.

Your next step: Check your profile details, website contact page and current leaflet side by side.

Choose where you want people to go

Before sharing a post or printing a leaflet, decide what someone should do next. Book an appointment? Read the service details? Ask for a quote? Choose one main action for each item.

Send people to the most useful page. A post about a facial should link to the facial details or booking page, rather than asking customers to search your whole website.

For example: “Find out what’s included and book your facial here: [facial page link].” For a service that needs a discussion first, try: “Send us a WhatsApp message to discuss your project.”

Check the link on your phone. The destination should match the service or offer you have just mentioned.

Connect social media to your website and WhatsApp

Add your website address to your business profiles. Where the platform offers suitable link or contact options, make it easy to visit your website or message you.

Use posts to give people a useful reason to click: show a result, explain a service or answer a question. Put the link where people can use it. If it is in your profile, tell them exactly which link to choose.

Example caption: “Thinking about your first facial? Our website explains the appointment, price and what to expect. Visit the facial link in our profile, or message us if you have a question.”

Do not assume a website address in a picture will be clickable. Give a clear route in the caption, profile or available link option as well.

Use WhatsApp to share the right information

When someone asks about a service, send the page that answers their question. This saves them searching and gives them something to read in their own time.

“Hi [name], here are the facial details, including the price and what happens at your appointment: [facial page link]. Let me know if you have any questions.”

If they are ready to book, send the booking link or explain your usual booking process. Keep the conversation helpful and personal.

You can also use WhatsApp Status to show work or share a reminder. Include your business name and a clear next step. Only send promotional messages to people who welcome them, and ask before adding people to regular updates.

Your next step: Save your service, booking and contact links in a note on your phone so they are easy to find.

Use print to take people online

A leaflet, business card, appointment card or poster can point people to your website or a useful page. A QR code lets them open the link with their phone camera.

Give the code a clear label, such as “View facial prices”, “Book your next appointment” or “See our recent work”. Print the website address alongside it for people who prefer to type it.

For example: a leaflet introducing your facial could show the service name, key details and a code labelled “Read more and book”. The code opens your facial page, where customers can find the price, suitability information and booking option.

Test the code from a printed proof before ordering. Check the destination and make sure it is readable at the size you will print. Verve Designs can create a QR code and include it in your printed materials. Explore our leaflet print prices and business card print prices.

Make your website connect the pieces

Your website should make the next step easy. Show your contact details clearly, provide a way to enquire or book, and link to your active business social profiles. If you use WhatsApp for enquiries, include a clearly labelled message link.

For example: a treatment page could offer “Book this facial” as the main button and “Have a question? Message us on WhatsApp” underneath. People can choose the route that suits them.

Do not send people through unnecessary steps. If a booking service can handle the appointment directly, give them that route. If you need a consultation first, explain what happens when they enquire.

Check the page on a phone, as many people will arrive from a social post or QR code.

A simple example: launching a new facial

Start with a website page containing the actual treatment details, price, location and booking process. Use accurate information and any consultation or suitability requirements.

  • Social media: introduce the facial with a clear photograph or graphic, then direct people to the facial page.
  • WhatsApp Status: share a shorter reminder and explain how to find out more.
  • Print: give suitable customers a leaflet or appointment card with a QR code to the same page.
  • WhatsApp conversation: answer questions and send the facial or booking link.
  • Website: help people read the details and book or enquire.

Keep the service name, price and offer conditions consistent throughout. If the price or availability changes, update the page and any active posts or displays. Remove printed material with expired details.

Keep the message consistent, but adapt the format

A leaflet has space for different information from a quick Status update. A social post can introduce one benefit, while the website gives the fuller explanation.

For example, your leaflet might say “A little time for you — discover our new facial”, your post could explain what the appointment includes, and your website can answer common questions. All three lead to the same service.

Use designs made for the space they will appear in. Do not shrink a whole leaflet into a small social image if the wording becomes difficult to read.

The Verve Social Media Graphics Group can help with regular ready-to-use content for beauty and wellness businesses. Add your own relevant caption and clear next step. For an exact service launch or offer, bespoke graphics can match your printed campaign materials.

Check the whole journey and see what works

Follow the journey as if you were a new customer. Open your social profile, visit the website, scan your printed QR code and try the contact or booking link. Check that each step works and the information agrees.

Ask new customers how they found you. Some may have seen a leaflet and then looked you up on Instagram, so record more than one channel when that is what happened.

Keep a simple note of enquiries and bookings. Likes, website visits and QR scans can show interest, but customers taking the next step tell you more about what is working.

Your next step: Choose one service and connect its social post, website page, WhatsApp reply and printed material. Test every link before you share it.
